Welcome to foxfordjewellery.com, a family run business with over 60 years of experience spanning two generations of the Field families' involvement in the crafting of Jewellery.

Michael Field started his apprenticeship as a Goldsmith way back in 1967 with one of Dublins leading jewellery manufacturers. At the end of his seven year apprenticeship he worked for various jewellery houses around Dublin. In 1977 together with his wife Claire (a designer) he set up a small manufacturing business supplying high quality jewellery to the retail trade.

In 1986 they decided to relocate to the West of Ireland and settled in Galway. In 1996 they moved to their present location in Foxford and opened a sales outlet of their own.

Many of you have visited our workshop located in the picturesque village of Foxford situated on the river Moy in County Mayo Ireland (just two inches to the right of the picture above). We will be delighted to see you again and to welcome new visitors to our workshop in the World famous Foxford Visitors Centre.
